Reviewing Positions of Independent Director

In conformance with our Articles of Association we are reviewing the positions of Independent Director on the Association’s Board. There are two positions, one is for 2 years and the other for 1 year and the appointments are at the discretion of the Board and will commence at the companies AGM on the 28th of March 2026. The Directorship will be reviewed after their term and may be extended by a further term with the agreement of the Board.  Nominations are now open and will close on the Friday 30th January 2026 at 5pm. Please send in a CV to john@cpsa.co.uk detailing the skills you possess which you feel will be beneficial to the board.

To continue with the development of the Association, the Board seeks members with the appropriate skills, board experience and knowledge to operate successfully at strategic level. Members who can bring significant relevant business and governance capability to the boardroom to complement the skills and knowledge of the existing directors, along with a good knowledge and understanding of clay target shooting, are particularly welcome. There is an expectation to attend board meetings, AGM's and some Championships throughout the year to represent the CPSA Nationally and Regionally.
